Penn State coach James Franklin has fired offensive coordinator John Donovan. The firing itself isn't a surprise, but the timing is a bit of a shock. Franklin didn't really hint at this move during a postgame press conference Saturday.

Richt had slipped vs. quality opposition

Mark Richt went 12-10 against AP Top-15 teams during his first seven seasons at Georgia, but over the past seven seasons, the Bulldogs had gone just 5-15 in those games. They did not have a win against a ranked team this season.

Georgia (9-3) has fired head coach Mark Richt, a source told ESPN's Mark Schlabach. Richt was 144-51 in 15 seasons at the school, winning SEC titles in 2002 and 2005. The Bulldogs went to a bowl game every year Richt was at the school. Story

London resigned one day after the Cavaliers lost 23-20 to Virginia Tech to drop to 4-8 on the season. Virginia was 27-46 in London's six seasons at the school.
