Devil Rays 6
(5-7, 4-5 away)
Twins 4
(7-5, 6-4 home)
2:10 PM ET, April 15, 2007
Mall of America Field, Minneapolis, Minnesota
|
• Summary: Dioner Navarro's double off Joe Nathan in the ninth inning snapped a 4-4 tie and the Devil Rays earned a split of their four-game series with the Twins.
• Unsung hero: Tampa Bay closer Al Reyes saved his fourth game of the season by striking out two of the three batters he faced. • Figure this: The Devil Rays lead the American League in home runs with 19 and are the only team to have homered in every game this season. • Figure this (part II): The loss for Nathan was his first since Sept. 6, 2005. • Quotable: "It really doesn't matter where we play anymore." -- Delmon Young on the D-Rays winning on the road. -- ESPN.com news services |
