ATLANTA -- Prince Fielder is still looking for the first three-homer performance of his career, but he'll settle for a nice defensive play as his third game highlight.
Fielder's third two-homer game of the season gave the Milwaukee Brewers all the offense they needed and he threw a runner out at the plate in a 3-0 win over the punchless Atlanta Braves on Saturday night.Fast Facts
• Prince Fielder recorded his 15th career multi-home run game, all since 2006. No Brewer has more than eight in that span.
• Jeff Suppan and four relievers combined on a six-hit shutout. It was Milwaukee's fifth shutout of the season, putting the team halfway to last season's 10 total.
• The Brewers improved to 6-3 in their last nine games and are 29-14 after starting the season 4-9.
• Trevor Hoffman recorded his 15th save in as many chances. He is halfway to his save total from last season.
• The Braves have lost three straight and have been shut out seven times this season, the most in the NL.
