Aubrey Huff, Freddy Sanchez combine for six RBIs as Giants drub Dodgers
LOS ANGELES -- After going winless in his first 14 starts against the Dodgers, Matt Cain has proven more than able ever since.
The right-hander scattered five hits over six innings, Aubrey Huff and Freddy Sanchez drove in three runs each and the San Francisco Giants won 10-0 Saturday for their first win of the season."He's always been tough, but it seems like over the last couple of years, he's been using more of his pitches and he's turned into a handful," new Dodgers manager Don Mattingly said of Cain.More From ESPNLosAngeles.com
Kenley Jansen struggled in his first major-league start but the Dodgers are OK with the converted reliever, writes Tony Jackson. Story
Another Giant Victory
Saturday's win was the fifth time the Giants have scored at least 10 runs in a shutout win over their rival the Dodgers with the previous instance coming in 2004.

Game notes
Giants LHP Barry Zito is expected to make his scheduled start on Sunday, four days after being in a car accident in West Hollywood. He said it was important not to miss his turn because of the affect it would have on the rest of the rotation. ... Dodgers INF Juan Uribe missed his second straight game with a bruised left elbow. ... Dodgers C Hector Gimenez singled in the seventh for his first major league hit. ... Last season, 115 of the Giants' 162 games were decided by three runs or less, most in the majors ... Dodgers 1B coach Davey Lopes wasn't at the game because of a death in his family. Hitting instructor Dave Hansen replaced him.
