Adrian Beltre's RBI single in 10th inning lifts Rangers over Braves
ATLANTA -- Eight years after he was drafted by Atlanta and four years after he was traded to Texas, Matt Harrison wouldn't let a rain delay decide when he was going to leave his first game against the Braves.
Harrison remained in the game following a delay of 2 hours, 16 minutes, Adrian Beltre drove in the go-ahead run with an RBI single in the 10th inning and the Rangers beat the Braves 5-4 on Saturday.The Rangers were previously 1-11 in one-run road games before winning this one after blowing an early 4-0 lead.More Texas Rangers coverage

Less than half the crowd of 44,600 stayed through the rain delay. ... OF Wilkin Ramirez, recalled from Triple-A Gwinnett, started in left field. RHP Randall Delgado was optioned to Double-A Mississippi after making one fill-in start in Friday night's loss to the Rangers. ... Braves manager Fredi Gonzalez said OF Nate McLouth probably will return from his left oblique injury on Sunday. McLouth has been on the disabled list since May 23.
