A.J. Burnett Strikes Out Four in 6th
A.J. Burnett struck out four batters in the sixth inning Thursday, becoming the first Yankee to ever strike out four in an inning and tying the major league record.
Burnett also struck out four batters in an inning July 5, 2002, while with Marlins. Only Chuck Finley, who accomplished the feat three times, has multiple games in which he struck out four in one inning.
