Research Notes
FROM ELIAS SPORTS BUREAU: The Phillies have won their last 12 games started by rookie Vance Worley. That's the longest streak of consecutive starts with a team victory for any major-league pitcher this season. The only Phillies pitcher with a longer single-season streak of consecutive starts won by Philadelphia was Steve Carlton, who had a 15-start streak of that kind in 1972. That was the year Carlton accounted for 46 percent of the Phillies' victories, going 27-10 for a team that finished 59-97. [+]Most Consecutive Starts With Team Win - Phillies History
