    Research Notes

Cole Hamels has really struggled in his last 6 home starts against the Mets dating back to 2010...Which is completely different from what Hamels has been able to accomplish at home against all other opponents during that span...

Cole Hamels limited hitters to just a .154 batting average in at-bats that ended with a changeup in 2013. So far in 2014, Daniel Murphy is hitless in 13 at-bats against the pitch. Hamels threw his changeup 25.1% of the time in 2013, which was third-most in MLB.
