For all those hoping to board the Lucas Giolito hype train, not so fast. Yes, the Nats' top prospect, who last threw June 22nd for Double-A Harrisburg, could slot in on Tuesday, when Washington - which placed Stephen Strasburg on the DL today - needs a spot starter. But # 9 prospect Austin Voth, who's no chopped liver either (2.99 ERA at Triple-A Syracuse) and last worked on June 23rd, probably makes more sense. The Nationals are expected to announce a roster move on Monday.
