For the first time in two months, the Orioles played an entire series with Manny Machado and J.J. Hardy both on the field. In related news, Baltimore swept its four-game set with division rival Tampa Bay, winning the finale 12-5. The O's, who outscored the Rays 31-14 in the series, are now a season-high 15 games over .500 and lead the AL East by 3.5 games over Boston.

Mark Trumbo is the host with the most. On Trumbo tee-shirt day at Camden Yards, the Orioles slugger just went deep for his 22nd bomb of the year, most in the majors. The O's have three jacks on the day and lead the Rays 8-5 after five.

Good decision by Mike Matheny to finally remove Trevor Rosenthal from the closer's role, although Cards fans will say it's a week too late. He has just three blown saves, but with 28 hits and 21 walks in 24 innings, he's been one of the worst relievers in baseball, not just one of the worst closers. Matheny says he'll go closer by committee, but look for Seung Hwan Oh to eventually take over.

Pirates ready for what Kershaw brings

Despite leading the majors with a 1.57 ERA, Clayton Kershaw hasn't had great career success against several Pirates hitters. Watch tonight's Dodgers-Pirates game at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN and WatchESPN. A good history
