Ryan Vogelsong, who starts for the Giants in Game 4 tonight, has allowed 18 homers in total this year but just two of them came at AT&T Park.

World Series Game 4 Starters

The Royals are using Jason Vargas, who hadn't made a postseason start before this season. The Giants counter with Ryan Vogelsong, who has a 2.16 ERA in his postseason career.

"Maybe the groundskeeper just was looking at all the Royals fans up in the corner there and just forgot."

In Game 3 of the World Series, Ned Yost and the Royals found the infield dirt damper than usual, which could have been an attempt to slow down the speedy AL champs. Giants manager Bruce Bochy claimed not have noticed anything unusual.
