Sandoval Comes Through ... Again

Last time Pablo Sandoval played in a World Series Game 1, he hit three home runs. He delivered an RBI double in his first at-bat tonight.

Big Panda comes through again. He hits a one-hopper to the right field fence to score a run. Buster Posey was thrown out at the plate on a relay throw.

Pablo Sandoval is a beast in Game 1 of playoff series, going 11-for-27 (.407), with three HR (all three came in Game 1 of 2012 World Series against the Tigers). And Big Panda is not at-bat with runners on first and third.

Stopping the running Royals

The Royals love to run, but Madison Bumgarner is one of the best in controlling the bases. This season, he had an MLB-leading nine pickoffs and runners only stole 7-of-17 bases.
