Daniel Murphy, whose 14 homers this season have already tied a career-high, when asked to explain his new-found power: "I don't know. They just keep going over the fence."

How does Didi Gregorius unwind?

The Yankee likes to sit back, relax and uncork some Two Buck Chuck. Gregorius' 2-run walk-off HR went down smooth for New York, but is going to leave a hangover for the Rangers.

Dodgers fall 7-0 to Brewers.

Baseball Tonight @BBTN

What a come back!! Yankees hit 2 HR to score 6 runs in the 9th to walk it off vs the Rangers, 9-7.

Mets manager Terry Collins on what Daniel Murphy has done against his former team: "He's doing damage against everybody!"

Why did you fail me, bat?!

That's probably what Freddie Freeman was thinking when snapping his bat after striking out for the third time.

Two Daniel Murphy bombs and another Max Scherzer gem helped the Nats to a 4-2 victory and a sweep of the Mets – you know, the team that was supposed to be Washington's foil but instead is falling apart faster than a homemade burrito. With a 5.5-game division lead and seven straight home dates with the Reds and Brewers (followed by four more against these same Mets), a double-digit cushion by the All-Star break doesn't seem out of the question.

Bucci Mane @Buccigross

What a classy player Francisco (that's fun to say) Lindor is. Could be in MVP talk by end of season...Jose Altuve is having a sick year.

With his second jack of the game and 14th of the season, Daniel Murphy just tied his career high in homers - in June. Since leaving the Mets, the Nats slugger has a 1.229 OPS against his former team.

Final line for Dodgers rookie Brock Stewart in his major league debut: 5 IP. 8 H, 5 ER, 2 BB, 7 K, 1 HR, 95 pitches. Only runs came in the second inning.

I love watching Brian Dozier play. Now up to 10 straight games with an extra-base hit. Last AL player to do that: Not Mike Trout or Miguel Cabrera. Not even A-Rod. It's Johnny Damon in 2009.

Sano's head gets the assist on the out

Miguel Sano took a pop fly off the noggin, but his teammate made the save.

Officially, Fred Wilpon owns the Mets, Unofficially, Max Scherzer does. After tonight's gem (7.1 IP, 2 H, 0 ER, 1 BB, 10 K), the Nats ace now has a 1.66 ERA and a 0.65 WHIP in six starts vs. the Mets since coming to Washington.

Marly Rivera ESPN Writer

Since joining the Nationals in 2015, Scherzer has posted a 1.66 ERA (8 ER/43.1 IP) in six starts against the Mets (including tonight).

Another dominant outing for Danny Salazar, as the Indians are three outs away from their 12th win in a row. Salazar tossed seven scoreless frames to lower his ERA to 2.22 as opponents are hitting just .185 against him. I'd go with Chris Sale as the AL All-Star starter, but Salazar should be a lock to make the team.
