New York solves its left field issue by trading for the Cuban outfielder. Cespedes, a solid defender, has a .829 OPS this season, compared to Mets left fielders' .710 OPS (18th in MLB). The trade came minutes before the deadline.

Yoenis Cespedes' trade to the Mets means he'll join his 4th team in the past 2 seasons. After starting his career in Oakland, he was dealt to the Red Sox at last year's deadline, then sent to Detroit this past winter.
