Dodgers CF Joc Pederson suffered a bruised AC joint in his right shoulder after colliding with the wall in the eighth inning Tuesday, but X-rays were negative for broken bones. Pederson was sore afterward with limited mobility in his right arm and it remains unclear how long he will be out. A decision on a DL move was not made after the game.

The Cubs beat the Reds 7-2 in 15 innings using three different pitchers in left field to get through the final couple innings. Travis Wood and Spencer Patton alternated pitching and playing left in one inning then set up man Pedro Strop played there in the 15th. None made a play on a ball.
