SALT LAKE CITY (Ticker) -- After an impressive streak, the Dallas
Mavericks have just been average in their last four games and
look to get on another roll starting against the
Utah Jazz on
Monday.
The Mavericks are just 2-2 in their last four games after
reeling off 12 straight wins. Dallas is looking for its second
straight win after a 105-90 victory over the
Denver Nuggets on
Saturday.
Josh Howard led the Mavericks with 30 points while
Dirk Nowitzki
added 25 and
Jason Terry 24 for Dallas, which shot 49 percent
from the field while holding the Nuggets to 38 percent shooting.
The Jazz, who own the league's best record, have also cooled off
lately, going 2-2 in their last four games after a 13-3 start.
Utah tries to rebound from a 110-103 loss to the Minnesota
Timberwolves on Friday.
Deron Williams led the Jazz with 21 points and
Mehmet Okur added
18.
Carlos Boozer had a rare off-night, shooting only 4-of-17 from
the field and finishing with eight points along with 13
rebounds.
