Wonder if Steven Adams still thinks Duncan is a nice guy after Duncan ‘bowed him in the chops on that layup

After Jose Bautista's bat flip and the Leafs winning the draft lottery Saturday night for the right to probably select uber American prospect Auston Matthews, a Raptors win would sure help what appears to be a re-birth for Toronto sports.

This is the 6th time in the shot-clock era a team has led by 33 or more at the half in the playoffs. Coach Pop's Spurs have 2 of the 6.

In the shot clock era, this is just the sixth time a team has led by 33 points or more at the half in a playoff game according to ESPN Stat and Information. The Spurs, coincidentally, were the last team to do it before tonight in 2006 against the Kings.

The Spurs obliterated the Thunder in the first half, 73-40. Here's the summary: LaMarcus Aldridge and Kawhi Leonard outscored OKC by five themselves. Durant is struggling, Westbrook is wild, the bench has been useless and the defense completely nonexistent. Other than that, pretty good half for the Thunder.

The Spurs go into halftime leading 73-40. No, this is not a misprint. According to ESPN Stats and Info, this is the first time a Gregg Popovich coached Spurs team had two players with 20 points in the first half of a playoff game. Kawhi Leonard put up 20 in the first half, which is a career high for a first half. LaMarcus Aldridge leads the Spurs with 25 points. Leonard and Aldridge's combined 45 points outpaces the entire Oklahoma City team. Amazing.

This is the first time a Popovich team has 2 players (Leonard & Aldridge) with 20 points in the 1st half of a regular OR playoff game.

Leonard & Aldridge: 32 Pts OKC: 30 Pts Spurs lead the Thunder 58-30 with 6:22 left before the half.

Spurs are off to a hot start in San Antonio! Spurs post their largest end of 1st Q lead in franchise postseason history (43 Pts).

The Spurs end the first quarter leading 43-20. The best shooting percentage the Spurs have ever produced in a playoff game under Gregg Popovich was 87 percent in Game 3 of the 2014 finals against the Heat, according to ESPN Stats and Information. That was also the only other time the Spurs had hit 75 percent or better in the first quarter of a playoff game under Popovich until the club lit it up for 81.8 percent in the first quarter against the Thunder. Kawhi Leonard and LaMarcus Aldridge have a combined 27 points. Oklahoma City's starters have a combined 17 points.
