Hawks caught fire, closing second quarter with a furious 23-7 run. Kyle Korver was running off screens hard and with only one thing in mind -- shooting a 3. He buried 4-of-6 in first half -- his two missed 3's coming on airballs but Hawks will take an aggressive Korver any day. Al Horford also has come to life with 15 points. Kevin Love has not scored since accounting for Cavs' first 13 points. And Love slipped and fell as Kris Humphries put a move on him and drove in for a layup during Hawks' run. Atlanta leads 63-55 at half.

Cavs trail 63-55 after a sloppy first half. Love 13p on 4-of-11 8r 2a; LeBron 10p 5r 3a; Frye 9p 4r. After controlling turnovers all postseason, the Cavs have 11 turnovers in the first half leading to 15p for the Hawks.

Korver's three gives Hawks the lead

Kyle Korver didn't get the start in Game 3, but he is 4-of-6 from beyond the arc as the Hawks are out in front at halftime.

Suddenly the Hawks are up 53-50 with 3:52 to go in the half. Turning point came with the Cavs up 8 and Delly being called for a push off on Teague. Atlanta followed with a Korver 3 and have been hot ever since.

A lot of questions entering Game 3 about whether Hawks would play more physical. So far though, two Hawks have landed extremely hard on their tailbone area. Hawks, though, playing with energy and fight. They trail 31-28 after first quarter. Defensively, the Hawks need to get up into the Cavs a lot more with Cleveland shooting 6-for-10 from 3.

The shot is falling during warmups. But Danny Green told me that you can never go by that. He said sometimes when it feels good and it's falling during warmups, he'll shoot horribly in the game. He said sometimes he'll miss everything and the stroke will feel bad during warmups, but he'll shoot well during the game. "You never know," he said.

Cavs lead 31-28 after 1Q. Love 13p 7r; LeBron 6p 2r; Kyrie 0p on 0-for-3. CLE shooting 6-for-10 from 3.

Big night for Tim Duncan, who will be tasked with keeping OKC's bigs off the offensive glass. That's probably as big a key tonight as neutralizing Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook.

Kevin Pelton @kpelton

Tristan Thompson *did* improve his free throw shooting, and he's still getting intentionally fouled, so spare me that argument.

Kyle Korver checks in for first time off bench with 5:21 left in first quarter. Cavs up 20-15 and Hawks' changes so far aren't making a massive difference as far as score is concerned.
