Aldridge picks the Spurs

The free agent tweeted, "I'm happy to say I'm going home to Texas and will be a Spur!! I'm excited to join the team and be close to my family and friends." His deal will be a four-year max contract worth more than $80M, with an opt-out after the third year, according to ESPN's Marc Stein. Story

Aldridge not only one leaving Portland

The Blazers confirmed to The Oregonian that assistant coach Kim Hughes is no longer with the team. The newspaper reported that Hughes was fired for his June 27 comments to an Indiana TV station in which he said LaMarcus Aldridge would not be returning to the team.

Lakers, Pacers agree to Hibbert deal

The Lakers are nearing agreement to take Roy Hibbert, league sources tell ESPN's Marc Stein and Ramona Shelburne. The framework of the trade is still being discussed. Sources said the deal will be completed by July 9 when the league-wide moratorium is lifted.
