Game 1 storyline: 3-pointers

Memphis and Golden State are polar opposites when it comes to relying on 3's, and it showed in Game 1. The Warriors poured in 13 triples compared to Memphis' 3. Another way of looking at it: That's 30 more points on 3's for GS.

Final: Warriors 101, Grizzlies 86

Golden State maintained a comfortable lead throughout and cruised to a Game 1 win. Steph Curry netted a game-high 22 points and Klay Thompson helped with 18. Box Score

Wizards G Bradley Beal erupted for a game-high 28 in his team's 104-98 win over the Hawks. Beal suffered an ankle sprain in the fourth quarter.

Grizzlies need to feed Z-Bo

Memphis' most useful offense in the first half was getting the ball to Zach Randolph. He finished the half with 16 points (7-for-9), and the team shot 12-for-14 on possessions where he got the first touch.

Still seems like best-case scenario for potential Conley return would be Game3 Saturday when series shifts to Memphis, given all factors.

Grizzlies missing Mike Conley

Memphis' PG play in the first half has been underwhelming. Beno Udrih and Nick Calathes have combined for just 5 points and 3 assists on 2-for-6 shooting. Conley is not playing due to injury (facial fractures).
