Before Trail Blazers practice on Tuesday, Portland coach Terry Stotts responded to the notion that he'd need to monitor swingman Gerald Henderson in Game 2. Henderson and Warriors center Anderson Varejao were ejected in the second half on Sunday after they were assessed for a pair of double-technical fouls following an altercation. The Trail Blazers believe Varejao deliberately swept his leg in an attempt to trip Henderson in the third quarter. "Varejao made a dirty play," Stotts said. "It was a leg whip and I thought it was a dangerous play. I thought Gerald's reaction to being tripped like that was appropriate, otherwise no one would've seen it. So, it was unfortunate that he got tossed on the second [set of double technical fouls], but you have to defend yourself, especially when somebody makes a dirty play."
