Nets granted permission to talk with Rosas

Brooklyn has received permission to interview Rockets executive VP of basketball operations Gersson Rosas, according to ESPN's Calvin Watkins. The Nets have a vacancy after GM Billy King was moved to an advisory role last month.

Nets rookie Chris McCullough, who has yet to play this season while recovering from a torn ACL injury he suffered while at Syracuse, will be activated Friday and Saturday but the plan is that he will not play in those games, the team said. His NBA debut could come as early as Feb. 8 or Feb. 10 -- the two games right before the All-Star break.
