Nets taking stock of roster

Andrea Bargnani, suffering from hamstring tightness, underwent a precautionary MRI, which was negative. Bargnani will skip Brooklyn's matchup with Fenerbahce Ulker tonight and his $50 million teammate, Thaddeus Young, will join him on the bench to start the game. Young, the projected regular-season starter, will play off the bench as coach Lionel Hollins gets a better look at other lineups.

F/C Andrea Bargnani (hamstring tightness) will not play tonight in Brooklyn's first preseason game against Fenerbahce Ulker. Bargnani has missed 175 games over the past four seasons due to injury. G Markel Brown (oblique), F/C Willie Reed (quad) and F Chris McCullough (knee) are also out for the team.

Brook Lopez to take more 3s this season

Lopez even joked that he's going to take 600 3-pointers in 2015-16. Lopez, who is 1-for-17 from downtown in his career, worked a lot on his 3-point shooting over the summer. "I'm confident in that situation to put one up if Coach (Hollins) calls my number in that regard," he said.
