WEST POINT, N.Y. (AP) -- Maurice Bailey had 16 points to lead Sacred Heart to a 55-51 comeback victory over Army Tuesday night.

Trailing 47-42 with 6:38 to play, Sacred Heart (1-1) scored nine straight points to take a 51-47 lead with 2:06 to play. Army (2-1) tied the game at 51-51 on Travis Owsley's driving layup with 41 seconds left. Sacred Heart's Kibwe Trim scored with 20 seconds to play, and teammate Omar Wellington stole the ball from Owsley before scoring with 11 seconds left.

The Pioneers took advantage of several Army cold spells, including the first 10 minutes of the second half when the Black Knights scored just six points. In that span, Sacred Heart erased a 29-25 halftime deficit and built a 38-35 lead. The second half featured five ties and five lead changes.

Trim and James Samuels scored 12 points apiece as Sacred Heart overcame 38 percent shooting from the field. Mike Queenan led the Pioneers with eight rebounds.

Josh Wilson led the Black Knights with 18 points, and Owsley added 17.
