WEST POINT, N.Y. (AP) -- Matt Bell scored 24 points and Colin
Harris added 11 to lead Army to a 53-36 victory over Maritime on
Saturday.
The win snapped a two-game losing streak for Army (4-5).
With Army leading 19-18 at the break, Bell ignited his team by
scoring the Black Knights' first seven points of the second half.
Army's 15-4 run, capped by five successive points from Harris, gave
the Black Knights a 34-22 lead.
The Privateers (2-4) connected on only 17.2 percent of their
shots after the break and scored just 10 points over the frame's
first 14 minutes.
Robert Benton led the Privateers with 18 points. Nikero Barbes
and Gerard Danzy each added 6 points.
Corban Bates added nine points and
Dan Borcherdt added five
points for Army.
The Black Knights outrebounded Maritime 41-35.
