JONESBORO, Ark. (AP) -- Adrian Banks scored 26 points and pulled down nine rebounds Saturday to lead Arkansas State to an 84-60 Sun Belt Conference victory over North Texas.

Banks, who hit 3 of his 5 three-point shots, was one of five Indians who scored in double digits as ASU (8-9, 3-2 SBC) dominated the Mean Green (11-5, 2-3). Arkansas State blocked 10 of the field-goal attempts by NTSU, and led 41-24 at the half.

The Mean Green hit only 30 percent of their first-half shots from the field, and improved only slightly after intermission for an overall shooting percentage of 32.4. ASU, in the meantime, hit 41.9 percent of its first-half shots and made 13-of-19 in the second half -- 68.4 percent -- to finish the game at 52 percent.

Helping pile up the points for the Indians were Shawn Morgan, with 15; Wendel Ryan, with 14; Isaac Wells with a double-double of 12 points and 13 rebounds; and Jim Jones, who scored 11 points while dishing out a game-high seven assists.

Kendrick Davis led North Texas with 18 points, and Michael Sturns added 10.
