CHICAGO (AP) -- Four Wildcats scored in double figures as Northwestern won its fourth straight with a 77-51 win over Howard on Thursday night.

Sterling Williams and Jason Okrzesik each scored 12 points, Nikola Baran had 11 points and Jeff Ryan added 10 for Northwestern (5-4), which jumped out to a 25-5 lead in head coach Bill Carmody's 100th career win.

Craig Moore, Michael Thompson and Ivan Peljusic each added eight points for the Wildcats, who had 22 assists and only 12 turnovers.

Howard (3-8) struggled on offense without its two leading scorers.

Eugene Myatt and Jeron Smith, who average a combined 27.2 points, both missed the game with knee contusions. With only eight players in uniform, the Bison shot 33.3 percent and committed 25 turnovers.

Freshman Kyle Riley had 14 points and Paul Kirkpatrick added 11 for Howard, which missed 11 of its first 12 shots while turning the ball over eight times in the first 10 minutes of play.

Northwestern opened the game shooting 50 percent, despite five missed layups.

Six straight points from Howard cut Northwestern's lead to 14, but the Wildcats used a 17-7 run to take a 42-18 halftime lead.
