NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Tennessee's first stint as the No. 1 team in the country will likely be brief.A day after reaching the top spot for the first time in school history, the Volunteers were upset by Vanderbilt (No. 14 ESPN/USA Today, No. 18 AP) 72-69 on Tuesday night. No worries, say the Vols.
Lofton Road Woes
Chris Lofton loves the 3-ball, but in Tennessee's loss at Vanderbilt on Tuesday night, it was once again evident that he should holster his gun a little more away from home. Three years ago to the day, Lofton attempted 13 3s away from home for the first time as the Vols lost at Arkansas. The result has been the same every time since.
