PHILADELPHIA -- Michael Bramos scored 26 points and Kenny Hayes added 17 to lead Miami (Ohio) past Temple 68-52 on Wednesday.
Tyler Dierkers had 10 for the Red Hawks (3-3).
Sergio Olmos scored 12 points and
Dionte Christmas added 11 for the Owls (3-3), who dropped their second straight.
Christmas entered the game ranked ninth in the country in scoring at 24.0 points per game. But he hit just 3-of-12 field goals and was 0-for-5 in the second half.
Temple trailed the entire second half but got within 55-49 on a layup by Olmos with 3:01 remaining. Bramos responded with five straight points -- a 3-pointer and a dunk -- for a 60-49 advantage with 1:36 left to seal the victory.
Bramos was 10-of-21 from the field and 6-of-10 from 3-point territory.
