MADISON, Wis. -- Jason Bohannon scored 18 points to lead Wisconsin to a 60-58 victory over Idaho State Tuesday night.
The junior guard scored all of his points on 3-pointers and free throws, including two foul shots with 8.9 seconds left that gave Wisconsin (7-2) a 59-55 lead.
Matt Stucki hit a 3-pointer for the Bengals (2-6) with 2.9 seconds left, and Idaho State had a chance for an upset after
Trevon Hughes of the Badgers was whistled for a lane violation on the second of two free throws.
But
Marcus Landry broke up the Bengals' full-court inbounds pass at the top of the key, preserving the victory.
Landry scored 14 points and had eight rebounds for Wisconsin, which improved to 56-4 in nonconference games at home under coach Bo Ryan.
Jon Leuer added 11 points for the Badgers.
Demetrius Monroe led the Bengals with 14 points on 7-of-9 shooting.
