MADISON, Wis. -- Joe Krabbenhoft scored 11 of his 15 points in the second half and helped spark a 12-0 run, lifting Wisconsin over Wisconsin-Green Bay 77-57 on Saturday night to keep the Badgers undefeated against the Phoenix.
Wisconsin (8-2) has won 15 straight over Green Bay (6-3). Since Bo Ryan became coach of the Badgers, Wisconsin has always won by at least 10 points.
Marcus Landry scored 14 points,
Jason Bohannon 12 and
Tim Jarmusz 11 for Wisconsin, which also got 11 rebounds from
Keaton Nankivil.
Mike Schachtner led the Phoenix with 21 points and
Ryan Tillema added 10.
Wisconsin took a 14-point lead early in the second half before the Phoenix went on a 9-0 run to whittle the lead to 52-47. But Landry hit a jumper and Krabbenhoft scored seven of the next 10 points in a 12-0 run to put the game out of reach and snap Green Bay's six-game winning streak.
