ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Manny Harris had 18 points and DeShawn Sims scored 16, leading Michigan to a 64-49 win over Iowa on Sunday.

The Wolverines (13-3, 3-1 Big Ten) have won eight of nine games, a stretch started by handing No. 2 Duke its only loss.

The Hawkeyes (11-6, 1-3) didn't have a double-digit scorer until Matt Gatens made a 3-point shot with 2 minutes left. Iowa lost for the fourth time in six games, dating to a 17-point loss to Drake.

Gatens finished with 11 points and Jarryd Cole had eight, starting for Cyrus Tate, who was out with an ankle injury.

Michigan was in control from the start, scoring the first two baskets en route to a 15-4 lead. The Wolverines led 32-16 at halftime and didn't have any trouble keeping its big lead.
