MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. -- Jacolby Hardiman tied a career high, scoring 20 points to lead Central Michigan past Ohio, 76-69, on Thursday night.

Central Michigan (6-12, 3-3 Mid-American) held Ohio (10-9, 3-3) without a field goal for an eight minute stretch that allowed the Chippewas to go on a 16-5 run and establish a 66-56 lead with just over two minutes to play.

Robbie Harman scored 19 points for Central Michigan, while Jordan Bitzer had 14 and Marcus Van added 12 points and nine rebounds.

Ohio was led by DeVaughn Washington, who had a career-high 25 points to go with 11 rebounds. Jerome Tillman was held to 10 points.
