WILLIAMSBURG, Va. -- Danny Sumner notched a double-double, scoring 19 points and grabbing 10 boards, to lead William & Mary in a 69-40 win over North Carolina-Wilmington on Wednesday night.

David Schneider added 14 points for the Tribe (8-16, 3-11 Colonial Athletic Association), who have won two of three games after losing seven straight.

Johnny Wolf led the Seahawks (6-20, 3-11) with 10 points, and was the only player in double figures for UNC-Wilmington. The Seahawks have lost four of their last five.

Both teams shot poorly in the first half, as the Tribe took a 23-16 halftime lead. But William & Mary poured it on in the second half, outscoring the Seahawks 46-24.

The Tribe shot 50 percent from the field (27 of 54) in the win compared to just a 22.7 percent mark (15 of 66) for the Seahawks. UNC-Wilmington hit only 4 of their 26 3-point attempts.
