No. 15 Missouri wins first postseason conference title in 16 years behind Carroll
OKLAHOMA CITY -- DeMarre Carroll could only shake his head and listen to his teammates laugh as he finished chronicling what he'd been through in two years at Missouri.Seated alongside the uncle who also happened to be his head coach and wearing a Big 12 championship cap and T-shirt, his journey seemed just a little bit wild.
• Missouri wrapped up its first Big 12 tournament title and will play in the NCAA tournament for the first time since 2003.
• Missouri was the fifth No. 3 seed to win the Big 12 tournament.
• The Tigers entered this season on a four-game conference tournament losing streak, but went 3-0 this year.
• Baylor fell just short of becoming the first team with a losing conference record to win the Big 12 championship.
