CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas -- Kevin Palmer and Demond Watt scored 18 points each to lead Texas A&M-Corpus Christi to a 97-67 victory against Oklahoma Panhandle State on Monday night.

Filip Toncinic added 14 points and Justin Reynolds 11 for the Islanders (5-6).

Reggie Lassiter scored 17 points to lead Oklahoma Panhandle State (4-6), a Division II school. Randy Daniel added 11.

Watt had nine rebounds for Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, which scored the game's first nine points and led by as many as 37 points in the second half.
