LEXINGTON, Ky. -- It was an historic night of scoring and rebounding for John Wall and DeMarcus Cousins, but most of the discussion after the game was about what Kentucky's two freshman phenoms did wrong in yet another easy victory for the Wildcats (No. 2 ESPN/USA Today, No. 3 AP).
Wall had 22 points and 10 rebounds for his first double-double and Cousins got his seventh straight -- best by a Kentucky player in 37 years -- as the Wildcats outmuscled Alabama 66-55 on Tuesday night.Fast Facts
• Kentucky got double-doubles from DeMarcus Cousins and John Wall, the second time they've each had a double-double in the same game.
• Kentucky is 4-0 since its lone loss of the season, winning all four games by double digits.
• Wall and Cousins outscored the rest of their team 38-28 and outrebounded them 23-17.
