ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. -- Xavier (No. 24 AP) is going to the semifinals of the Atlantic 10 Conference tournament, thanks to a great comeback and a silly slap by Dayton senior guard Rob Lowery.
Terrell Holloway hit a go-ahead three-point play with 1:22 remaining and second-seeded Xavier rallied from a 15-point deficit in the final 10 minutes to defeat Dayton 78-73 on Friday night in a game marred by a late technical foul against Lowery.Championship Week coverage
