• Cal improved the Pac-10 to 2-0 in the first round, joining the WCC as the only mulitple-bid leagues to go undefeated in the tournament in the first round.
• The Bears had a huge advantage from 3-point range, shooting 8 for 15 to Louisville's 5 for 19.
