Nebraska stops skid with win over Oklahoma St.

LINCOLN, Neb. -- Lance Jeter scored 16 points and Nebraska broke a three-game losing streak with a 65-54 victory over Oklahoma State on Saturday night.

The Cornhuskers (16-8, 4-6 Big 12) won for the first time in five meetings with the Cowboys.

Oklahoma State (16-8, 4-6), coming off back-to-back home wins over Missouri and Oklahoma, is 0-5 in Big 12 road games. The Cowboys now play three straight against nationally-ranked opponents: Texas, Texas A&M and Kansas.

Marshall Moses had 18 points and Keiton Page 14 for Oklahoma State.

The Cowboys overcame big deficits to beat Oklahoma, Kansas State and Iowa State, but they couldn't pull off a comeback against Nebraska, shooting 31 percent in the second half and 36 percent for the game.

The Huskers took their first double-digit lead on Toney McCray's 3-pointer, and it was a 15-point game after Caleb Walker's 3-pointer and Brandon Richardson's layup off a steal with 7:41 left.
