IOWA CITY, Iowa -- Purdue was playing for a possible share of the Big Ten title and perhaps even a No. 1 seed in the upcoming NCAA tournament.Iowa was playing for little more than pride -- and yet still played harder than the shell-shocked Boilermakers.Jarryd Cole had 16 points and 10 rebounds in his final home game and Iowa stunned No. 6 Purdue 67-65 Saturday, putting the Boilermakers' hopes for a top seed in the NCAAs in jeopardy and clinching the league title for top-ranked Ohio State.
• Iowa ended a six-game losing streak, an eight-game losing streak against Purdue and a 23-game losing streak against teams ranked in The Associated Press Top 25.
• Purdue is 25-6 this season with three of its six losses decided by four points or fewer.
• JaJuan Johnson reached 20 or more points in his eighth straight road game.
• Iowa won its first game vs. a ranked opponent since Jan. 12, 2008 (No. 6 Michigan State).
