• St. Peter's collects its third MAAC title and will make its third NCAA tournament appearance, but first since 1995.
• The Peacocks became the lowest seed to win the MAAC tournament since 2002 and the first No. 4 seed to ever win.
• The loss snapped a nine-game win streak for Iona which had its hopes of making its first NCAA tournament since 2006 dashed.
• Iona shot a season-low 15.8 percent from the 3-point line.
