BUIES CREEK, N.C. -- Trey Freeman scored 13 of his 22 points in the second half and Campbell beat Charleston Southern 62-57 on Thursday night, snapping a four-game winning streak.

Campbell (15-10, 9-4 Big South Conference) took a 33-30 lead into halftime before pushing that lead to seven, 58-51, with 3:29 left to play. From there, Charleston Southern scored six unanswered points to cut the deficit to 58-57 but Freeman made four free throws in the final 17 seconds to seal the win.

Charleston Southern (14-8, 8-4) beat Campbell 91-73 on Jan 5.

Eric Griffin scored 13 for the Camels on 6-of-11 shooting. Griffin leads the Big South, and ranks seventh in the country, in field goal percentage (.624).

Despite holding a 34-31 rebounding edge, Charleston Southern shot just 31 percent (19 of 62), including 9 of 35 from 3-point range.
