GREENVILLE, S.C. -- Brandon Sebirumbi scored 20 points to lead six Furman players in double figures in a 93-85 win over UNC Greensboro on Saturday.

Furman snapped the Spartans' seven-game winning streak and scored its most points against a Division I opponent since racking up 98 in a win over High Point on Dec. 20, 2003. The Paladins improved to 8-1 at home against the Spartans.

Richard Brown added 16 points, Charlie Reddick had 14 points, Bryant Irwin had 12, and Bobby Austin and Jordan Loyd each scored 11 for the Paladins (12-11, 6-6 Southern Conference).

Furman made 37 of 47 free throw attempts, with Reddick going 10 for 13. UNC Greensboro went to the line 31 times and made 27 shots.

Trevis Simpson scored 28 points and Derrell Armstrong had 24 for the Spartans (9-15, 7-5), who trailed by as many as 14 points in the second half.
