Tyler Zeller downs Virginia as No. 7 UNC survives to keep pace in ACC
CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. -- Tyler Zeller started fast and finished strong.
The 7-footer scored 20 points, including a critical dunk with 13.3 seconds left and the shot clock winding down, and No. 7 North Carolina outlasted Virginia (No. 25 AP) 54-51 on Saturday."It was great," Zeller said of the play in which he got the ball near the right elbow of the free throw line, dribbled twice and slammed it in. "Once I shot faked, Mike Scott was standing there, but he was kind of a little out of position to challenge it, and I knew I just had to go up and finish strong."More From ESPN.com
