OMAHA, Neb. -- Kyle O'Quinn's booming voice echoed through the halls, the jovial center for Norfolk State riding the euphoria of a monumental upset of Missouri as the words spilled out of his mouth faster than he could think.
"We messed up some brackets! We messed up some brackets!" he bellowed, before turning a corner and seeing a pack of reporters.More From ESPN.com
Between their cellphones, Twitter and President Obama's bracket, Norfolk State's players realized the magnitude of their upset before their coach had even made it back from his postgame news conference, Jason King wites.

Just Missouri Being Missouri
Missouri fans should be getting used to losing in the first round. The Tigers also lost to 14-seed Northern Iowa in 1990 and No. 13 Xavier in 1987.

After Missouri's fall, for a brief couple of hours, there were two perfect brackets out of 6.45 million. Then St. Louis upset Memphis, and no one has a perfect bracket. Does your bracket still stand a chance? Discuss!
Notes on Norfolk State's Upset
• Norfolk State's 86 points are the third-most by a 15-seed, behind Eastern Michigan's 90 vs. Pittsburgh in 1988, and Long Island's 87 last year.
• Missouri is the first team in NCAA tournament history to make at least 10 3-pointers, shoot at least 50 percent from the field, commit fewer than 10 turnovers and lose the game.
• With the loss to Norfolk State, Missouri joined Arizona as the only schools to lose in the round of 64 as a No. 2, 3 and 4 seed.
• Missouri is the fourth team to lose in the round of 64 after entering the tournament with 30 or more wins. Utah State did it twice, in 2009 and 2011, and Belmont did it in 2011.
