Kentucky has little trouble with Baylor on way to second straight Final Four
ATLANTA -- Kentucky could've cut the nets down at halftime.Actually, the Wildcats probably would've been good skipping the ceremony altogether.A South Region title is fine, but what matters to this bunch of future NBA stars is breaking out the scissors in the Big Easy.

Anthony Davis blocked six shots against Baylor with five of the six occurring in the paint. In the 2012 Men's Basketball Championship, 14 of Davis' 18 blocks (77.8 percent) have come in the paint with eight coming at the rim. For the season, 145 of Davis' 175 blocks (82.9 percent) have come in the paint.[+]

Kentucky limited Baylor to 7-24 (29.2 percent) shooting in the half court during the first half Sunday. It was the Bears lowest half-court shooting percentage in a half in the last three Men's Basketball Championships and the third-lowest by a Wildcat opponent.
Baylor had 16 offensive rebounds Sunday but only scored 14 second-chance points. The Bears shot 4-13 (30.8 percent) on second-chance opportunities against Kentucky, after shooting 53.1 percent on second chances in their first three games of the 2012 Men's Basketball Championship.
Kentucky outscored Baylor 17-5 in transition during its Elite Eight win over the Bears. The Wildcats scored 11 of the 17 transition points in the first half as they built a 20-point halftime lead. Kentucky entered Sunday's game with 70 transition points in the 2012 Men's Basketball Championship, the most in the field.[+]
