CLEVELAND -- Charlie Lee led five players in double figures with 20 points and dished a game-high seven assists in Cleveland State's 92-49 rout of Grambling State on Friday night in the season opener for both teams.
Forbes, Lee and Kamczyc each knocked down two 3-pointers for the Vikings, who shot 8 of 16 from deep.
Cleveland State shot 57.1 percent (16 of 28) in the first half and held Grambling State to 17.4 percent (8 of 23) en route to a 43-17 halftime lead. Cleveland State pushed its lead to 51 points, 89-38, with 4:43 left.
The Vikings outscored Grambling State 36-18 in the paint and scored 18 points off 16 Grambling turnovers.
