DURHAM, N.C. -- Emanuel Chapman dished out 10 assists and five North Carolina Central players scored in double figures as the Eagles rolled to a 94-40, nonconference victory over National Christian College Athletic Association member Toccoa Falls Tuesday night.
Chapman, who also pulled down six rebounds, now has 252 assists in his career, moving him into the top 10 in Eagles' history.
North Carolina Central dominated the first half, building a 59-22 halftime lead on 24-of-31 shooting (77.4 percent).
The Eagles scored 48 points off 28 turnovers.
Toccoa Falls (2-5) tried mounting a second-half comeback from beyond the arc, but the attempt fizzled as the team went 0 for 14 on 3-point tries after the intermission.
With the Suns drafting Tyler Ulis, they now have five guards on their roster who attended Kentucky.
NBA fans will be looking forward to their newest players making plays like this next season.
Tim Legler and Brad Daugherty analyze Ben Simmons and Brandon Ingram, the top two picks in the NBA draft, and agree that Simmons will have a more immediate impact.
