LUBBOCK, Texas -- Jaye Crockett scored 17 points and grabbed 14 rebounds to lead Texas Tech to a 91-56 win over Grambling State Tuesday night.
Crockett was a force in the paint on both sides of the ball the entire game. His 360-degree slam dunk with about 4 minutes left in the first half put the Red Raiders (3-0) ahead 34-15 and ignited the crowd.
The Red Raiders played aggressive defense all game long, picking up 17 steals and turning them into 29 points.
Top-50 prospect Jaylen Nowell committed to Washington on Wednesday. Nowell, a shooting guard, is No. 45 on the ESPN 100.
