FULLERTON, Calif. -- Jared Brandon had 16 points, Marquise Horne recorded a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds and Cal State-Fullerton sprinted past NAIA San Diego Christian 106-60 on Friday night.
Cal State-Fullerton (3-2) couldn't miss in the first half, shooting an impressive 64.5 percent by making 20 of 31 shots and drained nine 3-pointers.
San Diego Christian called a timeout after Raphael Rodriguez hit a 3-pointer at the 15:50 mark to cut the Titans lead down to two at 11-9, but the move back fired and Cal State-Fullerton went on a 45-22 run to close out the first half and take a 56-32 lead at the break.
The Titans scored 30 points off 19 Hawks turnovers.
